Jonathan Azar Pride joined Optima in May of 2020. Prior to joining the Firm, Jonathan spent three years building out the business development function at Wafra Inc., developing strategies and business plans for private equity products, conducting in-depth market research, building marketing materials and meeting with investors to raise Wafra’s first major external commitments. Prior, as an attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP in Saudi Arabia and New York, Jonathan advised large real estate, industrial and healthcare sector clients on IPOs, rights issuances and international joint ventures involving parties from the Middle East, Europe and Africa. Jonathan has a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a B.A. from the University of Georgia, and he speaks English, French and Arabic.
